Meet the Sonographer
Chantélle Duvenage is a highly experienced diagnostic medical sonographer with a passion for delivering accurate, high-quality ultrasound examinations. She qualified in 2009 and completed a Master’s degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in 2016. Her research has been published in the South African Journal of Radiology, reflecting her commitment to advancing the field of diagnostic ultrasound through evidence-based practice.
With over 15 years of clinical experience, Chantélle has developed extensive expertise in musculoskeletal, vascular, general, and small parts ultrasound, with a particular interest in musculoskeletal imaging. She is recognised for her meticulous scanning technique and the use of dynamic ultrasound assessment to evaluate movement-related pathology, providing valuable diagnostic information that complements clinical examination.
Chantélle works closely with general practitioners, sports physicians, orthopaedic surgeons, physiotherapists, rheumatologists, vascular specialists, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive diagnostic imaging that supports accurate diagnosis and effective patient management.

Zelné Alberts is the friendly face that welcomes patients to Sonar Centre and the first point of contact for everyone who visits or contacts our practice. As our Practice Receptionist and Patient Coordinator, Zelné manages the day-to-day front desk operations with efficiency, professionalism, and exceptional attention to detail. She coordinates appointments, assists patients with enquiries, facilitates communication with referring practitioners, and ensures that the practice runs smoothly and efficiently.
